Session Description
The Introduction to International Tax primer session will provide a framework of key concepts and considerations for the US federal income taxation of international activities. This will cover inbound and outbound activities. The session is directed toward those who may be new to the industry and the special nuances of the interactions between insurance and international tax as well as those who may be less familiar with international tax in general.

-Understand foundational concepts related to “outbound” taxation of US persons on non-US Activities
-Understand foundational concepts related to “inbound” taxation of non-US persons on US Activities
-Understand policy initiatives surrounding “base erosion” concerns globally
